Drive Drums

A drive Drum is always manufactured with a welded spindle, which is stepped down to a given size of bearing and where necessary fitted with a plug with a key-way.

Tensioning Drums

A tensioning drum can be manufactured with a fixed welded spindle or with internal bearings.  In the fixed version, the spindle can be stepped down to a given size of bearing.  The spindle with internal bearings can be manufactured with e.g exterior flats or internal thread.
